Will he stay or will he go?

Alex Kairis

Two clubs from the Spanish football league, Italy’s Juventus, and English football giants Arsenal and Liverpool are said to have their eye on Greek striker Georgios Samaras whose contract with Celtic ends this summer.
Fans hope the Scottish team will be able to hold on to the player who has netted more than thirty goals since signing from Manchester City three years ago.
Celtic Manager Neil Lennon, also a former captain of the team, seems determined to keep Samaras in Glasgow amid media reports that while contract talks had stalled before Christmas, the club may have found a way to bring the striker back to the table. Oddly, press reports say money is not the issue, but that Samaras objects to a contract that is just for twelve months.
No matter who he signs with, Greek fans will continue to thrill to Samaras’s play as a member of the national squad.
