American Farm School hosts evening with Olympia Dukakis

Join friends and supporters of the American Farm School and Perrotis College in New York on May 3 for “An Evening with Olympia Dukakis” at a benefit for the school’s scholarship fund.
The American Farm School of Thessaloniki is an independent, nonprofit educational institution founded in 1904 to serve the rural population of Greece and the Balkans. Major divisions include primary education, the Secondary School, Perrotis College, Adult Learning, and a cultural exchange program for American high school students known as Greek Summer.
The School’s founder, Dr. John Henry House, was a practical idealist who believed in educating the whole individual: the head, the hands and the heart. After more than a century of manifesting the founder’s vision, the American Farm School today is one of the world’s leading institutions of agriculture and life sciences. It is a center for international collaboration, a pioneer in teaching and demonstrating sustainable agricultural and environmental practices, a hub for scientific and technological research and innovation, and a model of long-standing partnership between the American and Greek people.
