Odyssey was launched in 1993 to bridge the gap between Greece and the Greek Diaspora. Its aim is to bring "the world of Greece" to Greeks abroad through coverage of Greek culture and politics, but also to keep alive the bonds connecting the global community of Greeks. It is sold at selected kiosks in Greece and elsewhere as well as through subscription.
